The Yvesom Pearl Collagen Velvet sheet mask provided me with the most luxurious sheet mask experience I have ever had! I had put the sheet mask in the fridge in anticipation of using it on a warm summer night and this worked out perfectly! The cold sheet mask felt so refreshing and cooling on my skin. I applied the sheet mask after using the serums in my skincare routine. The sheet mask itself is so pillowy soft (just like velvet!) and the serum was unexpectedly thick and milky. (I’ve only ever used sheet masks with a clear serum.) The sheet mask was a little big around my cheeks, but otherwise fit well onto my face. I did notice a scent to the mask — it reminded me of ginger but I did not see ginger amongst the list of ingredients. I could smell the mask while I had it on, but the scent did not detract from the overall mask experience. I accidentally fell asleep with the mask on and had it on for almost 4 hours. When I awoke, the sheet mask had dried out but my skin still felt moist underneath the mask. I took the remaining serum from the sheet mask packet and patted it onto my face and neck before applying my night moisturizer then went to sleep. In the morning my face looked dewy and felt plump and moisturized. I did not notice any brightening benefit from the mask, but perhaps that comes with its regular use. Overall, I was very pleased with this sheet mask and would definitely recommend it to others!! I am giving this product 4 stars as I cannot attest to the long-term benefits of this mask, only the luxurious experience I enjoyed with a one-time application.
Thanks blingdear..this skin-hugging mask is the best mask when you had emergency meeting later and you need the best skin in short time.the yhick serum also provide moisture alongside other skin benefits. This moisture help my make up stay longer and on point. I saved the serum for later use as the product really contain a lot of serum.
Today was my MASKING BLOSSOM TREE SPA-AT-HOME DAY with my YVESOM PEARL COLLAGEN VELVET MASK! Lol! … This mask was a delight to put on, full of milky Pearl Essence and Collagen Peptide that perfectly fit to my face with it's "well-padded" hypoallergenic microfiber mask. This is the first ever mask that fit this well and hugged my face to perfection! I want ALL masks to fit like this, PLEASE!! I really didn't even need to jade roller it smooth onto my face but I did it out of habit. Lol! It just hugged my face like a snuggly blanket. The eye holes, nose and mouth fit nicely without getting into my eyes. The only caveat was when I looked at the ingredient list I realized it had Grapefruit Extract which is contraindicated to one of the meds I'm on so I reluctantly decided to just leave it on for 5 minutes instead of the 10-20 min you can leave it on for. I confess, I did still hyper-infuse it on with my Foreo Luna's Anti-Aging side for the last 30 seconds before removing. I couldn't help it! Lol! … Still my skin felt so nourished and there was LOADS of the milky creamy serum on my face when I removed (probably too because I didn't leave it on as recommended) so I rubbed what I could in before wiping the excess off with a tissue! Lol! It just goes to show, it's always a good idea to read your labels even for skincare! Because you never know and it's always good to be in the know especially if taking medication. The packaging hasn’t got anything special going for it. It’s very basic as far as sheet mask packaging goes. It was a little tough to open, so at least you know that the essence won’t leak out easily. The sheet mask material was very tough, almost like very strong paper. The was didn’t have much of a scent to me, but it was very thick and was milky white. Being extra thick helped the mask to stay on the face. I didn’t notice a cooling effect, if anything I felt my face heat up slightly when using this. When I removed it and tried to pat in the remaining essence, at first the essence wouldn’t budge. It just sat on top of the skin for a few minutes but with some persistence, I finally got it to absorb. I was glad this didn’t leave a sticky residue like so many other milky-essence sheet masks do. I had a healthy glow, and my skin felt smooth after using this mask. Overall, this is an okay mask if you don’t mind putting in the extra time for the essence to absorb into the skin. For me, that was a bit annoying. When I sheet mask, I like it to be over and done with within 10-15 minutes max and that’s the reason why I don’t think this mask was suitable for me.
I like that it brightened my skin tone all the while also plumping up my skin. I think you would need to use multiple sheet masks to actually see any kind of anti-wrinkle effects, however, I do like the plumping effects it has. It is definitely really moisturizing, but in a good way. I wasn't extra oily for this mask and it didn't cause me to break out. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the holes of the sheet mask. The weirdly shaped holes really bothered me when I had to leave the mask on for such an extended period of time. I don't like when my sheet mask don't line up well with my face, and I hate when they get into my eyes and into my mouth.
